Saturday musings...

We're all really tired today... some of us got to sleep in till lunch time, unfortunately that wasn't me. Some of us are having naps, not me again. Me, is sitting here writing a blog post listening to 'I Can Only Imagine' by Mercy Me, trying to sing along while I am typing!!
Last night we went to Cudgewa for another fellowship meeting, well for the adults it was a fellowship meeting, for the teenagers it was an excuse to play Monopoly and Scrabble, to stay up till midnight and watch Madagascar 2 with the little kids. We are going to try get something (we aren't exactly sure what yet) so that it can be more of church for the younger people as well as the adults.
Music's changed, Pachelbel is playing now...
I have to do my next writing assignment soon. I have to do an outline for my book, the only problem is that I have never done something like this before :P!! And I have no idea on how to go about it. I asked my teacher to help me out, so I should have the assignment done sometime next week (hopefully!).
When I cry, is playing...

Making a list,
Of all of the good things You've done for me
Lord I've never been one to complain,
But right now I'm lost,
And I can't find my way.
My world's come apart,
and its breaking my heart.
But it helps to know that You're heart is breaking too.

When I cry, You cry.
When I hurt, You hurt.
When I've lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
And when I fall on my face,
You fill me with grace.
Cos' nothing breaks Your heart,
or tears You apart,
Then when I cry.

Alone in the dark,
Face in my hands
Crying out to You.
Lord there has never been a time in my life,
there's so much at stake,
so much to lose.
But I trust it too You,
You'll bring me through.
And it helps me to know
That I'm not alone.

When I cry, You cry.
When I hurt, You hurt.
When I've lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
When I fall on my face,
You fill me with grace.
Because nothing breaks Your heart,
or tears You apart,
Then when I cry.

You're the one who calmed the raging sea.
You're the one who made the blind to see.
You looked through all of Heaven and eternity,
Through it all,
You saw me

When I cry, You cry.
When I hurt, You hurt.
When I've lost someone, it takes a piece of You too.
When I fall on my face,
You fill me with grace.
Because nothing breaks You're heart,
Or tears You apart,
Then when I cry.

Well gotta go. Till next time!

18th and Internet

Hello...
Well like I have been saying for the last little while my sister turned 18 yesterday :). We didn't have a party or anything. We were going to go out for dinner, but seeing as though none of the restaurants (except for the pubs and hotels) were not open on a Wednesday, we didn't go anywhere. My grandma came up on Tuesday, and stayed for two nights.
Since Ayala was at work we spent all day Wednesday cleaning her room and making sure it was all nice to put her presents into (I'll get to what they were in a minute). We had to move some chairs and a book case and after the hard day's work, and the harder waiting for it to arrive when it the truck that was delivering it turned up, some how the order had been mixed up and he bought the wrong thing :P. But not everything was a loss, we had made new curtains and a dividing screen to go in Ayala's room. I did all the sewing and everyone helped make the frame (I'll post a photo soon), it looks really great in her room :).
Today the computer man came out and fixed our computer and Internet! Yay! So expect photos more often.
We got the movie of The Phantom of the Opera from the library the other day, and Cassie I loved it! It is a little hard to follow what they were saying for a bit because most of it is singing, but after watching a while it was great!
Till next time!

Mother's Day continued

Ok, I got to it today, instead of leaving til tomorrow :)
I spent most of today wishing I was at home sleeping. It was good to see every one again, my only two girl cousins, Abbey and Grace, who are about 5 and 7, were very glad to see us. The little boys weren't so glad to see us, mostly because at two and younger they don't really remember us. My aunties and uncles were interested in what we have been doing and all that, like good aunties and uncles :).
We were talking with Abbey and Grace, about their school and suddenly my 5 year old (!) cousin asked my sister "Do you have a boyfriend?"! None of my family are Christians, and they think its cute that 5 and 7 year olds are having their little boyfriends/girlfriends, we don't share their opinions. My grandmother does not seem to get the idea that we don't do that, and so she is always asking Mum "So is there any young men on the scene?", we usually just have a laugh at it. Anyway, my sister started saying "No Grace, I don't have a boyfriend." when a very smart person (me), not realising that my grandmother was standing right behind me jokingly said "No Grace, we're weird we don't have boyfriends!". I got a bit of a tongue lashing :P.
Well got to go, my sister wants to use the computer.
Till next time!

Mothers Day

Today is Mother's Day, I am not sure of all the origins (so anybody who does know, feel free to tell me). But I know it gives us the excuse to do something nice for our Mum's (we should do that every day, not just once a year!). We don't usually celebrate any of these days, the only way today is different is that we are going down to my grandparents place for the day (we don't usually do this either, but my grandfather asked us, something very unusual for him). I will update this later :).

Yesterday, after spending hours on the floor making Ayala's birthday present, we went to a fellowship meeting. Thankfully it was after milking so we didnt have to rush home half way through like we normaly do. One down side, we got back home at 12 AM...

Did I mention that we have to drive almost 100 kilometers to my grandparent's house?

Today?

hmmm... I doubt this will be a good combination.
P.S I dont know if the update will come this afternoon or tomorrow.

Giving V. Receiving

I was thinking, as I was sitting on the floor making my sister's birthday presents, how much more wonderful it is to give to people, than to receive. And what makes it even better is when you ache all over from sitting on a hard floor, but you are thinking how much your sister will enjoy what you are making. As I was sitting there, thinking on giving and receiving, the thought came to mind, what would Jesus have felt? He gave his life so that ALL humans could live! I know how I would feel if, after all my hard work, my sister saw it and hated it. How does God feel, that he gave his only son so that we might live, and we just turn our noses up and hate him?!
