Big week.

Well the reason for my being so bad a blog author is because the start of this week our Internet stopped working :(. It took us the whole week to get it fixed. But there was a good side. On Monday (or Tuesday, I forget which, it could have even been Sunday), Mum came to me and told me if I was going to get serious about making stuff I needed to set aside a corner where I could set up my sewing machine and what ever else I need. The problem with this idea is that there is no where! We ended up finding a corner, I love it because I can be set up with my stuff and fiddle around making things, I have already made two handbags. I might post about them another day.

Other developments... Last week, I got my entry for Elyne Mitchell Rural Women's Writing Award finished and with the help of my two great friends Noah (from aquest4thecalling.blogspot.com) and Cassie (from insidecassiesmind.blogspot.com) I was able to edit it as well. Thanks guys :D!! I couldn't have edited it with out you, lol! Now all there is to do is wait... till October (I wish I really could time walk! lol)!! That is when the winner is announced but apparently I should be notified soon if I get to be a runner-up, but there is a good chance that may not happen.

Today, one of Ayala's students came and spent the day with us. He's a good kid, although he has been through a lot. He is about Dan's age, they are great friends now. He lives with his grandparents and when he comes out here its almost like he treats us like a family away from home.
Tonight, we have had a kind of fellowship meeting, with one other family, it didnt really feel like one.

I have to go... Its 11 pm here and I should be in bed asleep but I felt I should write something, seeing as though I haven't for a week. I'll try be a better blog author from now on :D.

Bye, from your very tired author.

P.S. I am thinking about setting up a website, not a blog, a website, if anyone has any experience in this field please comment to see if you can be of any assistance.

Kathy, you HAVE had a busy week! We have too, and I'm READY to relax this holiday weekend!!! :p

I plan on setting up a website after I master the fine art of CSS. I've already learned HTML and could set up a website structure, but I wouldn't look nice without the CSS. Do you have a date when you want you website? Just wondering. I'm going to keep my blog for a few more years then, once I set up my website, I'll transfer all of my posts onto it.

I'll reply to your e-mail presently. :D

Kathy- What holidays are you having? Most everyone in America is on summer vacation from school (not me though. :D) but this weekend is 4th of July our Independence day! SUCH a fun day!

CSS stands for Cascading Style Sheets and it confuses me MUCH more than HTML ever did! LOL! My dad does some website set-up and computer programming, so sometimes he teaches me or I take online classes. He also has CSS books that I really SHOULD read. :D

I'm working on redoing my writing assignment. So, am I on assignment 2 and you are on 3?

Katherine, be encouraged. You write some very interesting stuff, and you have one great quality to your writing: you are very descriptive. Everything else will just take time. Being descriptive is hard to learn.
